HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — With a successful spring season behind it, Hot Springs’ five-field Majestic Park baseball complex is now accepting registration for the city’s kids to play in the fall baseball league.
“We had an overflow of kids sign up for the spring youth league,” Majestic Park General Manager Derek Phillips said Thursday. “In fact, we had to cut off registration soon after we opened it when 634 kids signed up to play spring baseball. That’s the maximum number of players we can accommodate on our fields.
“I expect the same thing will happen for the fall league, so those who want their kids to play ball this fall should sign up immediately at our website, www.majesticpark.org.
“Our fall baseball league is for kids in the Hot Springs community ages 5 to 15. Games will begin September 12, and will be played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The season will end October 30. The cost per player is $75. Registration is all done on the website majesticpark.org.”
Phillips said that in addition to the youth league’s successful spring competition, Majestic Park has been busy all spring and summer with teams in other leagues competing almost every minute the fields have been open.
“We’ve had teams playing constantly,” he said, “from the kids all the way up through college-level teams. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way Majestic Park has been accepted by baseball players and fans. We’re happy that baseball has been so popular in Hot Springs, and we hope to keep that enthusiasm going as we move into fall competition.”

• October 7 — SAS Fast pitch tournament
• October 14 — P2A USSSA Baseball tournament
• October 20 – 22 — PGF Diamond State Legacy “Spa City Invitational” Fast pitch tournament
• October 27 – 29 — PGF Diamond State Invitational 12U Fast pitch tournament
• November 3 – 5 — PGF Diamond State Invitational 10, 11, 13U Fast pitch tournament
